Hygiene and periodontal treatment

Routine Hygiene Scale and polish (30 minute session)
- scale to remove plaque and calculus above the gums followed by air and powder stain removal for patients with staining on teeth. Oral hygiene instruction and advice is also provided.
Hygiene appointment for heavily stained cases- 60 minute session
Periodontitis treatment (1 session)
- detailed records followed by a course of deep scaling to remove plaque and calculus above and below the gum line to stabilise active gum disease

Surgical treatment

Simple extraction
- uncomplicated extraction of a loose tooth not involving bone removal
Surgical extraction
- complicated extractions of heavily filled, broken teeth or teeth at risk of fracture that may require bone removal


Silver fillings
- traditional amalgam direct silver fillings packed into the tooth cavity
Small White fillings
- direct white fillings built up in incremental layers and bonded to the tooth
Glass ionomer
- adhesive white filling used to repair broken fillings. Can be used in an emergency until a more long-term solution is provided
Temporary fillings
- fillings placed in emergencies until a permanent restoration can be placed

Crowns, Bridges, Inlays, Onlays & Veneers

Porcelain fused to metal crown
- consists of porcelain fused to a metal substructure
All porcelain cosmetic crowns
- high quality crown for visible regions and superior cosmetics
Full gold crown
- traditionally recognised for their durability and are recommended for back teeth if the appearance of metal is not a concern
Post and core
- metal or fibreglass based restoration that provides support for a crown
- thin porcelain covering to improve the look of heavily discoloured teeth or to change the size and shape of front teeth. Can be highly customised for a very natural look
- Inlays are laboratory-made restorations that fit into the tooth. They are indicated when the cavity is too large for a direct filling but there is sufficient tooth to avoid placing a crown. Inlays can be made of various different materials

Orthodontic treatment

Orthodontic consultation
- initial consultation to discuss suitability for the various braces systems offered and advice on which is the most suitable option for each individual patient
Inman aligner
- a single removable appliance effective in aligning the front teeth
Clear aligners/invisible braces
- treatment using a series of clear ‘invisible’ braces to gradually move and straighten teeth
- a fixed brace system available in either metal or tooth coloured ceramic options to straighten teeth in a very short period of time
